Regional Non-Governmental Charitable Foundation «Protection of children» was founded in summer 1999.

It was created as a response to the current situation with neglected and homeless children in the streets of our city.

The main goal of the Foundation is providing social protection and support to orphans, children who have stayed careless, children from families in need, and homeless minors.

On the average, every month Regional Non-Governmental Charitable Foundation «Protection of children» assists approximately 130 children and 104 families with about  300 children.

In 2009, help and support have been rendered to 670 children and 109 families.
Nowadays, the Foundation carries out the following programs:
 
•    Social service
•    Social shelter for boys "Nadezhda"  
•    Day Center of Uncared Children
•    Social dormitory for graduates of orphanages and shelters
•    Family Center

The work of all departments and programs of the Foundation is aimed at providing support to any child or his family in difficulty.
